gabriel garcia marquez
one hundred years of solitude
this is his second book i've read and each one i read through madly. i find his strange tone and manner compelling, along with his habit of writing fantastic and wonderous events in a very traditional literature, almost historical, kind of way. i picked this up in the airport and read it twice. it took rather long to read, and i had to keep referring back to the family tree because i'd get the characters mixed up- they mostly all have the same names.
of love and other demons was also excellentlly wierd.
